Fellow Blogger

Here is a link to a fellow blogger, Will Baum, LCSW. Mr. Baum's blog has dozens of free therapy worksheets, workbooks, and recommended readings. The blog has worksheets on 50 different topics!! The site is organized by each topic, and each post is cross-referenced into all categories it fits into! Amazing! The site is really easy to use, and the tools could be used individually with clients, or as group material. It's worth your time to check it out! -EM

Surf Dog Ricochet- Turning Disappointment into a Joyful New Direction

You Tube link about Ricochet - a service dog who became a "surfice" dog. Go to You Tube and type in Surf Dog Ricochet. This 5 minute clip is a great message about honoring who we are and accepting others.
"...Rather than focus on what she couldn't do, I focused on what she COULD do...."
"When I let go of who I wanted her to be and just let her be.....she flourished."
This is a good philosophy for teaching and parenting. Dog lovers, have your hankies ready. - C L S
